Sachin Tendulkar drives Mumbai fans crazy as Mumbai win vs Kolkata KKR in IPL T20 2010
March 23, 2010
Sachin Tendulkar produced a classic knock of 70 off 48 balls as the Mumbai Indians thrashed Ganguly’s Kolkata KnightRiders (KKR)
KKR 155/3(Gayle 70), Mumbai Indians 157/4 off 18 overs(Sachin Tendulkar 70 not out). The Mumbai Indians captain, Sachin Tendulkar demonstrated why it is stupid to underestimate legends even in T20 cricket
“Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar cannot play T20 cricket” – After another classy T20 vs Kolkata’s KKR, will someone say that again
Sachin Tendulkar , the Mumbai Indians captain was supposed to be a cricketer who was good for only test and one day cricket. Once again, Sachin Tendulkar has refuted his critics by smashing an amazing knock of 70 off just 48 balls against the Ganguly led Kolkata KKR cricket team
That’s why I feel happy whenever critics take on the Mumbai Indians captain, Sachin Tendulkar. Criticism only spurs Sachin to bring out his best as he demonstrated his class once again in the Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata KKR T20 IPL cricket match
Gayle and Sourav Ganguly did well by getting Kolkata KKR to a score of 155 runs vs the Sachin led Mumbai Indians
Chris Gayle and Sourav Ganguly handled the Mumbai bowling attack quite well as the Kolkata KnightRiders (KKR) eased to a score of 155 runs. Not a great score by KKR, but with a good bowling attack led by Shane Bond and Ishant Sharma, Ganguly and his KKR team must have been confident of putting up a good fight against Sachin’s Mumbai Indians cricket team
Sachin Tendulkar and Shikar Dhawan got the Mumbai Indians off to a really good start vs the Kolkata KKR bowling attack
Sachin Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians captain, showed why there are no real friends on the cricket field in the IPL, as he launched a brutal attack on his test match pal, Kolkata KnightRiders’ Ishant Sharma, knocking him for three continous fours. It was clearly evident that Ishant Sharma had no clue about the line or length to bowl as Sachin Tendulkar unleashed a few classy straight drives off Ishant’s bowling
Ishant Sharma was really lucky to be playing for the Kolkata’s KKR cricket team vs the Mumbai Indians, as he had the best and closest view of one of the best visual treats on offer- a Sachin Tendulkar straight drive scorching past him to the long on boundary
Kolkata ’s KKR cricket team had some hopes after the fall of the Mumbai Indians opener Dhawan, but Sachin was still around
Sachin Tendulkar and SS Tiwari, the one down Mumbai Indians opening batsman, cautiously negotiated the bowling of Murali Kartik, the Kolkata KnightRiders left arm spinner. One of the amazing mysteries of Indian cricket selection is the absence of Murali Karthik in the Indian cricket team- Clearly Kartik is the best spinner on display in the IPL (if you ignore the retired Kumble) and the Kolkata KnightRiders (KKR) franchise is lucky to have got him in their side
Kartik however dropped the Mumbai Indians vs KKR cricket match, when he dropped a sitter off Sachin Tendulkar. Ganguly, the prescient captain of the Kolkata KKR cricket team, realised that this was probably the last chance for the Kolkata KnightRiders, could only watch in dismay and Kartik ’s lame excuse of the floodlights blinding him was not going to save him from his captain’s fury
Sachin Tendulkar and Tiwari then consolidated for the Mumbai Indians IPL T20 cricket team and started to smash the Kolkata KKR bowling to all parts of the cricket ground
In the company of Sachin Tendulkar, Tiwari produced some really good flat batted hits to smash the Kolkata KKR bowlers to the straight boundary. Tiwari and Sachin seemed to be on their way to guide the Mumbai Indians to an easy win over the Kolkata KnightRiders when Ganguly, the KKR captain, took a stunning catch to dismiss Tiwari
Pollard, the most expensive player in the Mumbai Indians cricket team did not last long in the company of Sachin and the Kolkata KKR cricket team sensed an opportunity
Pollard obviously has not got used to the carnival atmosphere in the IPL and failed with the bat again, as the Mumbai Indians IPL cricket team were left with new Sathish to give Sachin Tendulkar company for the Mumbai Indians. Sathish is an expert T20 cricket exponent and he clearly demonstrated his ICL expertise to guide the Mumbai Indians home against the Kolkata KKR (KnightRiders) cricket team
Sachin Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians captain, was unbeaten on 70 off just 48 balls, and guided the Mumbai Indians to the win vs the Kolkata KnightRiders
With this win vs Kolkata’s KKR, Sachin Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians captain, once again demonstrated that class is permanent and legends cannot be dismissed easily in all forms of cricket, including T20 cricket

Got something to say?

mumbai wins against KKR but now we see that only two team are very strong at that time and they both are in semifinal one is RCB and second are mumbai indians. let us see who win this cup?
NOW IT IS TRUE THAT MUMBAI INDIANS WILL BE IN SEMIFINAL IF HARBHAJAN CAN DO IT IN LAST MATCH SO WHO STOP MUMBAI BECOME A CHAMPION?
mumbai will be in semifinal now it is only to see that which team against him that is important
