Sachin Tendulkar and Shikhar Dhawan help Mumbai Indians massacre Dhoni’s Chennai Superkings

Mumbai Indians batsmen Sachin Tendulkar, along with Shikhar Dhawan make mockery of Chennai Superkings tall score of 180

Mumbai Indians sachin tendulkarSachin ‘s Mumbai Indians 182/5 off 19 overs(Sachin 75, Shikhar Dhawan 56) beat Dhoni ‘s 181/2 off 20 overs(Raina 83*, Badrinath 55*)

Sachin Tendulkar ‘s Mumbai Indians had to face a tall Chennai SuperKings target, thanks to Suresh Raina, Dhoni’s blue eyed boy

Sachin Tendulkar spared a few words of encouragement for Suresh Raina’s performance in the Mumbai Indians IPL3 T20 cricket match vs Chennai Kings. Sachin Tendulkar had to acknowledge Suresh Raina’s swashbuckling innings of 83 off just 56 balls, with some enormous sixes.

The best part about Suresh Raina ‘s innings for the Chennai Superkings was his handling of the short ball. The Mumbai Indians bowlers obviously attacked Suresh Raina with the short ball, knowing his perceived weakness, but Raina managed to play some aggressive pulls and hooks to the boundary

The Mumbai Indians had an aggressive Shikhar Dhawan in addition to Sachin Tendulkar at the start of the innings against the Chennai Superkings

Sachin Tendulkar had made a tough call in the Mumbai Indians team selection by dropping an out-of-form Sanath Jayasuriya from the IPL team. However, Shikhar Dhawan has more than compensated for Jayasuriya ‘s lack of form by hitting some aggressive knocks at the top of the order for the Mumbai Indians.

In the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Superkings IPL3 cricket match, Shikhar Dhawan launched a blistering attack on the Chennai SuperKings bowlers and was to a smashing fifty in almost no time. Joginder, the Chennai SuperKings medium pacer bore the brunt of the Shikhar Dhawan brutuality being smacked for 17 runs in one over

Sachin Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians captain (and the best batsman in the world) paced his innings beautifully and
absolutely toyed with the Chennai SuperKings bowlers

Mahendra Singh Dhoni , the Chennai SuperKings (and India) captain, said it best by saying that Sachin Tendulkar’s batting was a training session for the bowlers and batsmen of both the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Superkings cricket team. Sachin Tendulkar seemed to not only know exactly where the fielders were but also who the fielders were. Sachin Tendulkar got the Mumbai Indians cricket team really close to the Chennai Superkings target by stealing singles and twos and placing the ball in the right areas for boundaries.

To me, Sachin Tendulkar ‘s best shot of the day for the Mumbai Indians was an inside out shot to deep long off for four. Not many would have noticed, but just that over, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Chennai Superkings captain had brought the long off inside the ring- trust Sachin Tendulkar to know exactly where the fielders in the opposing team are

Pollard, the new star of the Mumbai Indians cricket demonstrated his talent well against the Chennai Superkings IPL3 cricket team

In a brief stay,Pollard showed his batting prowess by slamming 20 runs in almost no time, including a “flicked” six off Muralitharan which was one the highlights of the T20 cricket match

Sachin Tendulkar, the captain of the Mumbai Indians cricket team, said in a post match press conference, that Pollard was still new to the IPL and was getting used to the local conditions- no doubt Pollard will be one of the stars of the Mumbai Indians in the future

In summary, it was a wonderful batting display by Sachin Tendulkar in the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Superkings IPL3 league cricket match
